Doug & Greg - Tex-Mex Wedding 8.9.14 The Barrow Mansion, JC

We had 2 months to plan, design & create a 'Texas in Jersey' for Doug & Greg.
The Barrow Mansion--a historic piece in Jersey City, was beyond a great choice for their Tex-Mex setting. We transformed this hidden gem by covering wall to wall ceilings with colorful paper flowers...500+ to be exact, all done by the so talented Doug. We hung personalized papel picado (Mexican folk art made out of tissue paper, cut into elaborate designs including their names) throughout every room. Art work with fields of flowers transformed the windows for a Texas field feel. Colorful satin runners decorated the tables with gorgeous Moroccan style lanterns surrounded by a mix of floral stems arranged in long neck Jarritos and Big Red bottles; Gerberas, Sun Flowers, stock, solidago and more. Colorful custom menu cards at each place setting turned into a little surprise game for guests; Loteria (Mexican Bingo).

The awesome photobooth by JMartin Photography was a huge hit, the Texas pralines were a sweet treat for guests to enjoy after the Texas BBQ style dinner. We had an amazing time working with Doug & Greg, it was an amazing evening surrounded by love. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day.
