Having an outdoor summer wedding?

As of this moment the summer heat looks very promising for us, the majority of our summer events booked are outdoor weddings. While summer weddings are beautifu, full of sunshine and warmth, heat can always play a big part in outdoor ceremonies.

My advice is to take full advantage of the season and add a flattering details to your special day while keeping your guests cool. Greet your guests with paper parasols. They are available in a great variety of colors and patterns to coordinate with your theme colors, offer shade to your guests and add a beautiful touch to your ceremony and/or pictures. My favorite part, guests can take them home as favors! The bridal party can also carry the parasols instead of bouquets for a less traditional but casual, summery look. A money saver!

Fans are also a great addition to your Summer wedding. Its warm out there even with the cooling breeze we are lucky to have most of the time. Your guests will be very grateful for your forethought. The fans can also double as ceremony programs.

One idea that I absolutely love is personalized water bottles. These make great favors for summer outdoor weddings. Greeting your guests with a cold and personalized water bottle is both practical and creative. You can personalize the label with your picture, monogram and/or dates.

Why hire a Wedding Planner/Coordinator?

Wedding Planners/Coordinators are specialists in planning. Their job is to know the industry inside out so you do not have to. While by no means a necessity and may seem like an unnecessary expense to most couples, Day Of Coordination services are the absolute best way to ease wedding day stress! We can save you a lot of time and stress, and in some cases we will save you money (planners/coordinators can agree special discounted rates with vendors that they regularly send business to).
By having an independent planner/coordinator on hand to work with the venue and vendors on your wedding day, you can be assured a smooth running, flawless event. On site coordinators and other wedding vendors have long praised the benefits to having an independent event planner the day of the wedding as it allows them to focus on their specialty be it photography, catering, or entertainment instead of handling all of the details and of the minute situations that arise. Your end result is a blissful, stress free wedding day!

Here is what we as wedding planners/coordinators can do for you and your wedding;

1. We can help you to create a sensible budget for your wedding. Given the amount of money you have available and your vision for your wedding we can help you organize where your money will be spent so you can make the most of it.
2. We will draw up and present you with wedding planning checklists. These are presented in a timeline format, letting you know what you should have arranged by when, so you can tick items off your list sequentially.
3. We can point you in the direction of recommended vendors, pick your read over contracts that your vendor presents and advice you on any potential pitfalls in the small print.
4. On the day of your wedding we will meet with your vendors and organize them to ensure everything runs smoothly. We will calm any last minute nerves or cold feet that may arise. We will make sure that every detail you had planned for your day is orchestrated as you had envisioned.

The role of the wedding planner/coordinator on your wedding day should not be underestimated. In fact, some couples on a budget pick someone to work on the day of the wedding only (Day of Coordinator).
Finally your we as your planners/coordinators will also be able to help you to organize your honeymoon. As you get closer and closer to your wedding date you may find that you are far too busy to take care of this yourself. Why not give us an idea of the kind of honeymoon you are looking for and an idea of your honeymoon budget so we can come back to you with a range of options. Once you have decided on a particular honeymoon choice, we can then be able to arrange some of the finer details of your romantic getaway leaving you free to look forward to the big day ahead.
